Development of solutions for transportation, GPS, and data processing Full Stack Developer with Backend Focus At Grupo PS, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer with a strong backend orientation to join our technology team and participate in the development, maintenance, and integration of web-based solutions. We seek a candidate with a solid technical foundation, capable of working on existing systems, developing new features, resolving incidents, and collaborating on the evolution of internal and customer-facing applications. **Job Objective** Join the development team primarily to support backend development under Java architecture and microservices, while also contributing to frontend initiatives, system integration, and continuous improvement of internal and customer-facing applications. The main focus of this role will be the development, maintenance, and optimization of applications targeting transportation solutions, GPS, and large-scale data processing. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain backend functionalities using Java and Spring Boot. * Design, build, integrate, and consume REST APIs. * Work with PostgreSQL databases, SQL queries, and data models. * Support frontend development when required, preferably using Angular. * Maintain and evolve existing components developed in PHP. * Work with PHP frameworks, CSS, and Bootstrap in existing or new systems. * Analyze technical requirements and translate them into implementable solutions. * Resolve bugs, incidents, and performance issues. * Participate in testing, code reviews, and deployments. * Document relevant technical changes. **Mandatory Requirements** * Minimum 3 years of software development experience. * Proven experience in backend development with Java. * Knowledge and practical experience with Spring Boot. * Proficiency in SQL queries, data modeling, and basic query optimization. * Experience with version control, preferably Git. * Experience with PHP frameworks. * Practical knowledge and experience with CSS. * Practical knowledge and experience with Bootstrap. **Education** * Degree in Computer Science, Computing Engineering, Programmer Analyst, Programming Technician, or related field. * Equivalent practical experience will be valued. **Desirable Technical Requirements:** * Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments. * Experience integrating with external services. * Familiarity with agile methodologies and ticket management tools. * Knowledge of C, C\+\+ or Python. * Experience in frontend development with Angular. * Knowledge of PHP, especially for maintaining or evolving existing systems. * Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript. * 2–3 years of experience in frontend or complementary technologies. **Expected Profile:** * Minimum 5 years of software development experience. * Proven backend development experience. * Ability to work both on new developments and on maintaining existing systems. * Autonomy, organization, and analytical capability. * Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams. * Commitment to quality, maintainability, and sound development practices. **Conditions** * Offered net monthly salary: between $1\.900\.000 and $2\.100\.000. * Employment modality and location: to be communicated during the hiring process. **Application** Send an updated CV to: seleccion@grupops.cl Subject: **Full Stack Developer \- Backend**.
