Description

Summary: We are seeking a Deployment Engineer to bridge high-level AI/Robotics solutions with complex physical environments for enterprise clients, focusing on systems integration and customer success. Highlights: 1. Bridge high-level AI/Robotics solutions with complex physical environments 2. Architect how technology interacts with diverse robot brands and networks 3. Highly technical, high-impact role at the intersection of Industry 4.0 ### **Description** We are looking for a **Deployment Engineer** to bridge the gap between our high\-level AI/Robotics solutions and the complex physical environments of our enterprise clients. This is a highly technical, high\-impact role for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of Industry 4\.0, systems integration, and customer success. You will be the technical face of Andes Path during the most critical phase of the product lifecycle: moving a solution from a controlled environment to a live, production\-critical facility. You aren't just installing software; you are architecting how our technology interacts with diverse robot brands, industrial IoT networks, and legacy infrastructure. ### **What You’ll Do** * **Architect the Integration:** Lead the deployment of our systems, collaborating with the development team, in both greenfield and brownfield facilities. * **Optimize Edge Performance:** Design and audit network topologies for IoT edge devices, ensuring stable connectivity and low\-latency performance in challenging industrial environments. * **Technical Problem Solving:** Debug automation anomalies using first principles, internal toolchains, and low\-level frameworks like ROS2 (Robot Operating System). * **Manage Deployment Configuration:** Write documentation and protocols for execution during deployments. Ensure all configurations are ready before deployment while having reliable rollback procedures. * **Drive Acceptance Testing:** Collaborate with partners and clients to ensure successful completion of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). ### **What We’re Looking For** * 5\+ years of experience building, shipping, or deploying production systems, specifically within robotics, industrial automation, or Industry 4\.0\. * **Technical Systems Expertise**: Proficiency in Linux environments, networking (physical and virtual infrastructure), and debugging complex automated systems. * **Robotics/IoT Interests**: Ideally to have familiarity with ROS, IoT edge devices, and integrating diverse hardware/software stacks (e.g., Robot OEMs, PLCs, or sensors). IoT experience would suffice as robotics can be something learnt with Andes Path. * **Pragmatic \& Self\-Directed**: Comfortable working in "first\-use" applications where the solution isn't obvious and requires high ownership. * **Fluent English communication** and the ability to explain complex technical constraints to non\-technical stakeholders. ### **Benefits** * Fun team activities every month to build strong bonds. * We're located in a great area, with plenty to enjoy nearby (El Golf, Las Condes). * Snacks and drinks are always stocked in the office. * Weekly team lunches to recharge and connect. * You’ll work closely with high\-caliber US\-based companies. * Comprehensive health and dental insurance to keep you covered. * Wellness activities reimbursement. ### **About Andes Path** Andes Path is a Chilean–US engineering and design studio building for the frontier. We work with cutting\-edge US startups and F500 innovation teams tackling real\-world problems in robotics, AI, simulation, and infrastructure. Our clients are fast\-moving, technically ambitious, and building things that haven’t quite been built before. We operate like product teams, not outsourcing shops — with high\-trust relationships, sharp execution, and a deep respect for craft. Our team is small, low\-ego, and serious about building exceptional products. While we have a core office in Santiago, we’re remote\-friendly across the Americas. Our culture is fast\-paced, collaborative, and grounded in mentorship, clarity, and ownership.
