**Job Description** We are seeking a Java Full-Stack Developer to join a 6-month project, collaborating with an important public sector client. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing complete software solutions, covering both front-end and back-end — with a primary focus on backend development — ensuring functionality, performance, and scalability of applications. **Main Responsibilities** * Design and implement server-side logic, APIs, and back-end services, ensuring security, efficiency, and proper integration with databases and other applications. * Build and maintain the user interface using modern web technologies, promoting an intuitive and responsive experience. * Participate in architectural design of solutions, proposing technologies, design patterns, and best practices. * Identify and resolve performance issues, optimizing code and queries. * Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality. * Collaborate in deployment and continuous maintenance of applications, including updates and incident resolution. * Actively participate in agile teams, contributing to the achievement of project goals. **Essential Requirements** * Degree in Computer Science or related field (graduate, alumnus/alumna, or licensed). * Minimum of 5 years of experience in development of complex and transactional projects, preferably in sectors such as banking, retail, or others handling high volumes of data. * Proven full-stack development experience, with proficiency in both front-end and back-end/API development and integration with databases and other applications. * Experience with agile methodologies. * Proficiency in at least 6 of the following technical skills: * 1\.\-Web development with HTML5/CSS. * 2\.\-REST/JSON services. * 3\.\-VueJS framework. * 4\.\-Bootstrap. * 5\.\-Object-oriented programming. * 6\.\-Design and development of microservices. * 7\.\-Java 6 or higher. * 8\.\-SpringBoot. * 9\.\-SQL (preferably Oracle or PostgreSQL). * 10\.\-Testing tools (JUnit, JMeter). * 11\.\-Unix/Linux operating system. * 12\.\-Business/presentation layer development frameworks. **Desirable Requirements** The following will be valued: * More than 5 years of experience in the Full-Stack profile. * Certifications, diplomas, or postgraduate studies in software development. * Additional training (40 hours or more) in: * API development. * Microservices, SpringBoot, SpringBatch. * Cloud development. * Secure development. * Application design. * Data integration. * Agile methodologies. * Web development, integration, security, and optimization. **Work Mode:** Hybrid (remote work with possibility of occasional on-site attendance) Job type: Full-time Application Question(s): * How many years of experience do you have in full-stack software development? * How many years of experience do you have working with Java and SpringBoot in complex or transactional project environments? * Do you hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field? * What are your salary expectations for this position?
