Job Summary: Group PS is seeking a Data Scientist & Optimization Developer to lead the development and implementation of advanced optimization and machine learning models, delivering high-impact solutions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate models into products. **Group PS is seeking a Data Scientist \& Optimization Developer** **Position Conditions:** * Work Mode: Hybrid (1 day per week onsite, with additional availability as required by the team) * Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 * Net Monthly Salary: $1\.400\.000 **Position Objective:** Lead the development and implementation of advanced optimization and machine learning models, integrating exact and heuristic methods to efficiently solve complex problems and deliver high-impact solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and develop optimization models (linear, integer, and nonlinear) * Implement machine learning solutions in cloud environments (GCP) * Analyze large volumes of data and generate insights * Develop scalable solutions using Python * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate models into products * Monitor and improve model performance in production **Requirements:** * Degree in Computer Science Engineering, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or related field * Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles (optimization and machine learning) * Experience in mathematical modeling and optimization (linear, integer, nonlinear) using Python/MIP or AMPL * Knowledge of machine learning (scikit\-learn, TensorFlow) and model lifecycle (validation, monitoring, metrics) * Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Seaborn) * Experience with backend frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI) and REST APIs * Knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases * Experience working with large volumes of data * Proficiency in DevOps tools (Docker, Git, GitHub) * Cloud experience (GCP: BigQuery, Vertex AI, Compute Engine) * Knowledge of data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, ChartJS, or Looker) * Ability to communicate technical results to diverse stakeholders * Desired experience in Workforce Management and shift optimization **Interested candidates please send CV to:** seleccion@grupops.cl **Interested candidates please send CV to:** seleccion@grupops.cl with subject line: **Data Scientist \& Optimization Developer** Work Location: Onsite employment
