Chile **Employment Type** Permanent Full Time **Function** Operations **The Role** Join **Sonnedix** in shaping the digital backbone of our operations in Chile. As a **SCADA \& Performance Engineer**, you’ll ensure the reliability, availability, and integrity of our SCADA, Operational Technology (OT), and monitoring systems that power our renewable energy assets. Sitting at the crossroads of automation, data analytics, and operational performance, this role bridges technical operations and digital systems — enabling real\-time visibility, system optimization, and continuous improvement across Sonnedix’s growing portfolio. Based in **Santiago**, with regular fieldwork, you’ll collaborate closely with **Operations, Asset Management, and Engineering** teams to manage SCADA and CMMS systems, validate data integrity, and lead system integrations, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities. This is a hands\-on opportunity for a technically skilled professional to contribute to Chile’s renewable energy transition — strengthening compliance, improving system performance, and ensuring our operations run with precision and reliability. **Desirable Skills \& Experience** * Degree in **Electrical, Electronic, Automation, or Control Engineering** (or related field). * **Experience** in SCADA, OT, or industrial communications systems (generation, EPC, or grid operator environments preferred). * Proven knowledge of **IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus TCP/IP**, and **industrial network configuration** (VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, redundancy). * Experience with **SCADA software, CMMS tools**, and monitoring platforms (e.g., Bluepoint) for performance tracking and data validation. * Strong analytical mindset with the ability to **identify underperformance trends** and propose corrective actions. * Fluent in **Spanish and English**, with clear written and verbal communication; proactive, detail\-oriented, and collaborative in cross\-functional environments. **We use English as our business language, please submit your CV in English.** **At Sonnedix, we’re building a future ready team with AI literacy, the ability to leverage digital and AI tools to improve efficiency, innovation and productivity across all roles.** **Studies show that many qualified candidates hesitate to apply unless they meet every requirement.
