At Falabella Financiero (Digital Payments), we are looking for our next Data Engineer, based in Santiago, Chile. Today, we operate in 7 Latin American countries, as well as having offices in China and India. What is the main objective of the role? Develop and design cloud-based tools at all levels of the data ingestion flow, from database management to user reports. What will you do on a daily basis? * Create and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, storage, and distribution. * Integrate different data sources, both internal and external, to ensure data consistency and integrity. * Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data pipelines to guarantee fast and efficient processing. * Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. * Continuously monitor the health and performance of data systems, performing preventive and corrective maintenance as needed. * Work closely with data analytics teams, operations, architects, DevOps, and other stakeholders to understand and meet business data requirements.
