A major cargo transportation company seeks a Logistics Support Operations Supervisor (Management Control Engineer) (Maipú) as a temporary replacement due to a one-month medical leave, with potential extension. Responsibilities: Review transportation and logistical support operations within the organization by monitoring resources, ensuring compliance with procedures, and managing team performance to guarantee operational continuity, adherence to safety standards, and optimization of departmental outcomes. Update subcontracting platforms and associated documentation in operations to ensure compliance with current labor regulations and service continuity. Update the company’s operational platform in operations to ensure information traceability. Monitor claims and fines related to operational equipment to ensure timely resolution and regulatory compliance. Supervise preventive and corrective fleet maintenance in coordination with workshops to ensure operational availability. Monitor fleet control and GPS systems in operations to ensure compliance with driving conditions. Review fuel consumption and resource utilization in operations to ensure cost control and internal compliance. Analyze operational performance indicators and management reports in operations to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making. Prepare monthly operational closings through analysis of income statements to ensure cost control. Calculate bonuses, overtime, and expense reimbursements for operational staff to ensure accurate information delivery to the payroll process. Manage operational deviations through implementation of corrective actions to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Manage supplies and resources in operations to ensure proper execution of activities. Reimburse assigned funds via the Rindegastos platform to ensure timely replenishment of financial resources. Monitor staff attendance and punctuality in operations to ensure service continuity. Prepare customer payment statements (EDP) for assigned customers in operations to ensure accurate billing and revenue control. Education: Management Control Engineer or Business Administration degree. Requirements: * Minimum 5 years of experience in roles such as Management Control Engineer. * Experience in transportation operations. Knowledge: * Current legislation applicable to cargo transportation, including Law 18.290 (Traffic Law) and Law 20.949 regulating maximum human-cargo weight. * Transportation operations management and supervision. * Law 16.744 on work-related accidents and occupational diseases. * Transportation documentation. * Hygiene, safety, and risk prevention applied to cargo transportation and related regulations. * Shift, vacation, and replacement scheduling. * KPI management. * Operational performance indicators and management reporting.
