Currently, we are seeking an **Environmental Field Officer**, to work on a road project located in Las Condes, Chile. **Functional/Contextual Aspects of the Position (Considerations):** * The job requires performing duties within the Quality and Environmental Department. * The role involves constant interaction among the work team. * The position demands high memory capacity, attention, concentration, and analytical skills. * The role requires strong oral and written communication skills. **We are looking for a candidate with the following requirements and competencies:** * Degree holder in Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work or related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience managing communications or community engagement (experience in road construction projects is desirable). * Experience in developing diagnostics, relationship plans, citizen participation plans, or socioterritorial interventions is desirable. * Knowledge of SEIA for the development and implementation of Resettlement Plans (PDR) within Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies. * Proficiency in Office software. * Strong orientation towards work, effective communication, high analytical ability, coordination, planning, and organizational skills. * Professional certifications and postgraduate studies in related fields will be positively valued. **Key Functions and Responsibilities:** * Lead the coordination process of baseline land surveys, acting as the liaison between consultants and landowners, facilitating communications among all involved parties. * Supervise the execution and progress of land surveys conducted by external consultants, ensuring schedules are met and corresponding reports are delivered for each activity completed. * Maintain active and continuous contact with communities present in the project area to establish trust and ensure smooth communication and project development within the territory. * Participate in meetings with the Fiscal Inspection and the DPMAT department (Division of Participation, Environment, and Territory, under the General Directorate of Concessions) regarding resettlement matters, presenting proposals and/or strategies for developing a PDR that meets SEA requirements and aligns with company guidelines. * Supervise the drafting of the PDR, as well as documents prepared for the EIA related to community engagement to be submitted to the SEA, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks. * Monitor the PDR development process, control, and supervise progress to meet established deadlines. **What do we offer?** * Social benefits, work-life balance policies, flexible compensation, diversity, and recognition. * Personal and professional development through continuous training programs, opportunities for internal and international mobility, and healthy lifestyle promotion. * Being part of a dynamic work environment guided by three core principles: collaborative intelligence, excellence, and comprehensive social responsibility.
