Job Summary: A major food company is seeking Production Operators for the Retail (frozen and packing) and Transfer areas, with experience on production lines and GMP. Key Highlights: 1. Handling of frozen fruit and operation of machinery in the Retail area. 2. Quality control and packaging of pulp in the Transfer area. 3. Compliance with hygiene, safety, and good manufacturing practices. A prominent food industry company is seeking to hire Production Operators for the **Retail (frozen and packing) and Transfer** areas, preferably with experience in production line operations and GMP. Please note that assignment may be made to either the Retail or Transfer area, depending on the Center’s requirements. **Job Responsibilities** **Retail Area** * Thawing and handling of frozen fruit. * Feeding raw materials into machinery. * Packaging and bagging of products in doypack format. * Boxing finished products and palletizing. **Transfer Area** * Quality control of frozen fruit on conveyor belts. * Pallet assembly and disassembly. * Packing pulp into boxes and drum transfer. * Operation, assembly, and disassembly of equipment for cutting and thawing frozen fruit. * Performing cleaning and housekeeping tasks in the plant. * Compliance with hygiene, safety, personal appearance, and internal plant policies. **Requirements:** * Completed secondary education. * Compliance with food safety standards, good manufacturing practices, and hygiene and personal appearance standards. * Professional training (relevant courses or certifications). * At least **2 years of experience** in similar positions. * A **proactive, dynamic, and empathetic** profile. **Approximate net salary: $625,000 CLP** **Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday / rotating day and night shifts** **Working Hours: November to March Period: PEAK SEASON** * Monday and Tuesday: 08:00–16:30 hrs; Wednesday to Friday: 08:00–15:40 hrs; Saturday: 08:00–16:00 hrs. **Rest of the year: (CURRENT SCHEDULE)** * Monday and Tuesday: 08:00–18:00 hrs; Wednesday to Friday: 08:00–17:00 hrs. * NIGHT SHIFT: Monday and Tuesday: 21:00–07:00 hrs; Wednesday to Friday: 21:00–06:00 hrs. **When this shift applies, an additional $35,000 CLP per completed shift is added to the taxable base.** * ️ All shifts include a 60-minute meal break. ️ Lunch provided by the company.
