Accounting Analyst

Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring the accounting of premiums and commissions, guaranteeing financial order and control, including treasury operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure financial and accounting control over insurance premiums and commissions. 2. Perform reconciliations with insurance companies and control payments. 3. Participate in accounting closings and support internal and external audits. You will be responsible for ensuring that accounting accurately reflects the movement of premiums and commissions, guaranteeing order, reconciliation, and financial control within insurance operations. Additionally, ensure that all treasury operations and bank transactions are correctly recorded in the accounting system. * Reconciliations with insurance companies * Review and reconcile collected premiums vs. invoiced premiums. * Verify commissions agreed upon with insurers and their accurate settlement. * Prepare insurance reports * Address dealer inquiries regarding commission settlements * Monitor pending payments, premium discrepancies, or adjustments. * Record, analyze, and reconcile accounting accounts. * Ensure accurate accounting of treasury movements and banking transactions. * Prepare reports and variance analyses. * Participate in monthly accounting closing processes. * Support internal and external audits. * Auditor Accountant * 1 year of prior experience in a similar role (preferred) * Intermediate to Advanced English (verifiable) * Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Access, and database management) * Attention to detail and ability to work with precision * Ability to work under pressure and meet established deadlines * Teamwork GM Financial is an equal opportunity employer.
