We are seeking a qualified professional for the **Electromechanical Technician** position at our MMO site in Nacimiento. **Key Responsibilities for this Position:** * Execute service requests aimed at maintaining the operational functionality of electromechanical equipment, following guidance and predefined procedures from the immediate supervisor, using tools and devices to identify and/or repair identified defects or faults. * Interpret mechanical drawings and power electrical circuits that define the operation and/or functionality of a system or equipment. * Operate electromechanical handling and adjustment tools. * Operate dimensional measurement equipment for precise adjustments. * Operate electrical measurement equipment for diagnosis, control, and adjustments. * Perform alignment on equipment. * Perform equipment lubrication through oil replenishment or oil changes. * Conduct inspection routes on electromechanical equipment. * Dismantle and assemble machines and electromechanical components. * Perform maintenance (diagnosis and repair) on electromechanical equipment. * Diagnose faults and carry out repairs. * Conduct parts and spare parts analysis. * Support the maintenance planning and scheduling department with relevant information. * Assist in identifying root causes and support developing solutions. * Maintain work tools (cleaning, lubrication) to ensure service quality. * Carry out tasks in an organized and effective manner, contributing to the proper use, conservation, and cleaning of equipment and facilities within the area of responsibility. * Comply with the Company’s established safety and hygiene regulations, follow the defined rules and guidelines from the immediate supervisor. * Understand Valmet’s mission, values, policies, and objectives, adhering to established standards, instructions, and procedures as guarantees of quality, occupational safety, environmental protection, and preventive medicine—contributing to appreciation, optimization, digitalization processes, sustainable development, and improved service to internal and external customers. * Know and apply Valmet’s quality management system procedures, instructions, and standards, striving to implement them daily to ensure service quality. * Perform other professional activities related to and inherent in the position, as directed and requested by the immediate supervisor. **Required Qualifications for Performing These Activities:** * Technical education in industrial maintenance (mechanical technician) or related field. * Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical or electromechanical industrial maintenance for continuous processes (paper, pulp, oil & gas). * Experience in fault analysis.
