




ANDRITZ ACL, a global leader in plants, equipment, and services for the pulp and paper industry, hydropower stations, metal and steel industries, and liquid-solid separation in municipal and industrial sectors, is seeking an Automation and Digitalization Engineer to be based in Los Ángeles. You will be responsible for identifying process optimization opportunities in terms of production, cost, and quality. You will work on-site performing data analysis, process control, and system management tasks. What will your responsibilities be? * Daily monitoring of KPIs for industrial plants and customer needs. * Identifying opportunities and proposing solutions, along with suggesting modifications to control logic when necessary. * Execution of optimization projects. * Performing data analysis through ANDRITZ systems. * Configuring control logic, synchronizing control loops, and identifying process issues or limitations. * Avoid "reinventing the wheel" by seeking solutions within the PPAD network. * Improving existing solutions and contributing knowledge back to the PPAD network. Requirements: * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field. * Postgraduate degree in Control Engineering is desirable. * At least 3 years of experience in process automation, control, or simulation. * Experience in the pulp and paper industry is desirable. * Availability to travel and move to customer sites. * Class B driver's license.
