Wood requires hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer for its Process \& Chemicals service line, who will be responsible for tasks associated with assigned projects, in continuous coordination with the Wood team and the Client. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges. * Civil Electrical Engineer * Minimum 10 years’ experience in engineering/execution projects * Knowledge of equipment and facility design within the discipline * Knowledge of electrical conduit design (underground and overhead) * Knowledge of electrical equipment wiring design * Knowledge of explosion-proof electrical installation design * Knowledge of cable tray and ladder rack conduit design * Familiarity with technical standards and specifications for electrical equipment * In-depth knowledge of discipline-specific design standards * Knowledge of construction specifications for the discipline * Ability to interpret discipline-specific drawings, such as single-line diagrams * Switch House, including pressurization, HVAC, fire detection, SCADA/DCS, instrumentation, lighting, etc. * Transformers and accessories * Medium-voltage switchgear * Low-voltage switchgear (380 V) * Motor Control Centers (MCC) * Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) backup power sources * Lightning protection systems * Lighting systems * Alarms, sirens, telephone system * Self-excited telephone systems * Wiring methods * Grounding * Knowledge of electrical conduit design (underground and overhead) * Knowledge of electrical equipment wiring design * Knowledge of explosion-proof electrical installation design * Knowledge of cable tray and ladder rack conduit design * Familiarity with technical standards and specifications for electrical equipment * In-depth knowledge of discipline-specific design standards * Knowledge of construction specifications for the discipline * Ability to interpret discipline-specific drawings, such as single-line diagrams.
