This position is critical to ensuring continuous vessel operation, encompassing proper operation and maintenance of mechanical systems as well as active support during operational tasks to meet monthly operational targets. Key responsibilities: Operation, supervision, and control of engines and associated systems; basic preventive and corrective maintenance in the engine room; continuous monitoring of vessel functionality during operations; strict compliance with maritime safety regulations; support in operational tasks onboard, contributing to achievement of monthly production goals. Requirements: Valid Junior Vessel Engine Operator certification; experience on small vessels or barges (preferred); knowledge of mechanical systems and maritime safety; proactivity, responsibility, and strong teamwork orientation; commitment to achieving operational targets; residence in the Aysén Region (preferred).
