Role Purpose The primary challenge of this position is to design, build, and operate DevOps capabilities supporting the complete lifecycle of Machine Learning models—ensuring continuous deployment, reproducibility, observability, security, and scalability—in close collaboration with Data Science, Data Engineering, and Platform teams. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD and CT (Continuous Training) pipelines in GitLab for Machine Learning solutions. Develop software and automation (primarily in Python) for model training, validation, deployment, and operations. Create, deploy, and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform—primarily on GCP—ensuring high availability and cost efficiency. Build and operate model deployment platforms (batch and online) on Kubernetes and containers. Implement model, dataset, and feature versioning practices, ensuring traceability and reproducibility. Enable end-to-end MLOps workflows, integrating training, validation, deployment, and monitoring. Implement model monitoring and observability—including technical and business metrics (latency, errors, data drift, and model drift). Work closely with Data Science teams to support model industrialization and standardization of practices. Define and promote best practices in DevOps, MLOps, and Software Engineering. Profile We Are Seeking We seek a candidate with a strong engineering foundation, oriented toward automation and reliability, combining DevOps + Software Engineering with practical understanding of the Machine Learning lifecycle. Desirable: Prior experience in MLOps or deploying models into production. Experience working with modern data platforms. Knowledge of cost optimization and security for ML workloads. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer in cloud environments (preferably GCP) * Minimum 3 years of experience working with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, etc. * Experience working with IaC tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, etc. * Practical knowledge of the Machine Learning model lifecycle.
