Today, we operate in 7 Latin American countries, plus offices in China and India. What is the main objective of this role? Ensure the availability and performance of Oracle databases (on-premises and cloud), leading upgrades and cloud migrations. What will you do on a day-to-day basis? * Oracle Administration and Operations: installation, hardening, patching, capacity planning, user and security management, encryption (TDE), audits, and compliance. * High Availability and Continuity: design and operation of Data Guard, RAC, backup & recovery with RMAN, DR testing, and RTO/RPO validation; documentation and runbooks. * Performance & Tuning: AWR/ASH analysis, index/partitioning design, SQL/PL-SQL tuning, parameter and resource optimization. * Migrations and Upgrades: planning and execution of upgrades and migrations from on-premises platforms to cloud environments, including OS changes (Linux), functional and performance validation post-cutover. * Cloud: deployment and operations on OCI / GCP / AWS (managed services and IaaS), automation with Terraform/Ansible, observability (OEM, etc.), cost optimization. * Continuous Improvement: standardization, documentation, and evangelization of database best practices across the organization.
