Job Summary: We are seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead and manage teams, ensure safety and quality standards, optimize processes, and plan workshop production. Key Highlights: 1. Supervision and control of workshop equipment and technical assistants. 2. Ensure safety, quality, and program compliance standards. 3. The Workshop Supervisor is required to perform the following functions: * Supervise and control the functions of Technical Assistants. * Apply effective supervision routines to maximize the utilization of available personnel. * Supervise and control the functions of the workshop team. * Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. * Ensure scheduled work is completed, meeting KPIs (adherence to the weekly schedule). * Identify team training needs and incorporate them into the annual training plan. * Encourage staff regarding continuous process improvement and manage its implementation. * Review and approve layout drawings from the design department intended for component manufacturing within their area. * Define minimum stock levels of supplies and raw materials that the warehouse must maintain on-site at RPM PARTS facilities. * Ensure machines and tools used in processes are in good operating condition. * Actively participate in RPM’s job budgeting processes. * Identify investment requirements for the workshop area. * Apply root cause analysis tools whenever a process defect occurs and implement actions derived from this analysis. * Ensure strict adherence to workshop planning and scheduling. * Maintain proper order and cleanliness in the workshop and work area. * Provide field services for Operations and/or Projects undertaken by the organization. Conditions and Requirements: * Qualified professional: Mechanical Technician, Machinery and Tools Technician, Metallurgical Engineering graduate, or Mechanical Engineer. * Minimum 5 years of experience in roles related to manufacturing. * Intermediate-level Office software proficiency required. * CAD software knowledge required. * Must reside in the city of Copiapó. * Net salary between 2\.0 – 2\.5 $
