Currently, we are seeking an **IT Support Officer** with a degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, with **at least 5 years of relevant experience**, for the **Desierto de Atacama Airport**. **JOB MISSION** Ensure the availability, security, and efficiency of information and communication technologies (ICT) supporting the operational, administrative, and security processes at Desierto de Atacama Airport, guaranteeing service continuity, regulatory compliance, and technological integration with various stakeholders within the airport ecosystem. **Key Functions and Responsibilities:** * Maintain operational status of the airport’s computer and network systems (servers, workstations, printers, switches, routers, etc.) to prevent system outages that could affect normal project operations. * Manage hardware and software inventory, ensuring necessary backups are available to support area functions. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on project IT systems through initial diagnostics, ensuring their proper operation. * Guarantee LAN, WiFi, and WAN connectivity at the airport, ensuring connections support normal internal system operations as well as external client needs. * Monitor redundant or satellite links if applicable. * Implement cybersecurity policies: antivirus, firewalls, access controls, to proactively prevent potential external malicious breaches. * Execute periodic backups of critical systems and databases to safeguard sensitive data in case of incidents or emergencies. * Control physical and logical access to server rooms and critical equipment. * Provide technical support to systems such as: + FIDS (flight information displays) + CUTE/CUPPS (airline common-use systems, if applicable) + CCTV, access control, and video surveillance systems. + BHS, integration systems with AODB and RMS * Coordinate and collaborate with external ICT service providers and clients. * Assist airport staff (IT, administration, operations, maintenance). * Install and configure corporate applications and internal management systems. * Identify opportunities for improvement in ICT processes. * Propose new technologies or upgrades to enhance airport efficiency. * Provide technological support for integrating airport systems with agencies present at the airport: DGAC, MOP, Customs, airlines, etc. **We are seeking candidates with the following requirements and competencies:** * Degree in Computer Engineering or related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in ICT * **ADDITIONAL TRAINING:** * Agile methodologies in ICT environments * Technological project management * Airport Systems (Desirable) **KNOWLEDGE:** * Airport technological infrastructure (AODB, RMS, SIC\-NS, FIDS, BHS, PAS, etc.) * Networks and telecommunications (WiFi networks, Telecommunications, LAN/WAN networks) * Cybersecurity and critical information security (policies, standards, network segmentation (OT/IT)) **What do we offer?:** * Social benefits, work-life balance policies, flexible compensation, diversity, and recognition. * Personal and professional development through continuous training programs, internal and international mobility opportunities, volunteering, and healthy lifestyle initiatives. * Be part of a dynamic work environment guided by three core values: collaborative intelligence, excellence, and comprehensive social responsibility.
