With over 95,000 employees and a global network of more than 2,400 offices and laboratories, we are recognized as the foremost authority in quality and integrity. **Purpose of the Position** We seek an Operations Manager responsible for the operational management of assigned departments, ensuring service continuity, optimizing processes, and leading human resource management, industrial maintenance, and compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage the human and operational resources required to ensure process continuity. * Supervise and monitor adherence to work programs and committed deadlines. * Manage staffing levels necessary for proper service delivery. * Lead operational improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing laboratory productivity and performance. * Review and approve work permits, overtime, and vacation requests for supervised personnel. * Supervise implementation of the maintenance plan and coordinate resources for equipment and infrastructure maintenance or renewal. * Coordinate with HR on matters related to hiring, contracts, remuneration, and benefits. * Support the Quality department in incident investigations and non-conformance analyses. * Implement operational improvements and corrective actions arising from audits or internal controls. * Ensure operational well-being of staff and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. * Participate in labor relations meetings and cross-functional support meetings as required. **Requirements** * Professional degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field. * 3–5 years of experience in similar roles or in operations linked to mining/laboratory environments. * Advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Intermediate-level English proficiency. * Knowledge of metallurgical processes, chemical analysis, and data interpretation. * Medical fitness compatible with site-based work. * Willingness to work in the Atacama Region, Huasco. * Willingness to travel as required by the position. **Key Competencies** * Leadership and team management. * Strategic thinking and results orientation. * Operational management capability. * Effective communication. * Problem-solving and decision-making. * Continuous improvement orientation.
