Job Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Technician for major maintenance at the Salvador plant, including intervention on power/control systems and technical diagnostics, ensuring safety. Key Highlights: 1. Major and corrective maintenance on critical equipment. 2. Intervention on power and control systems. 3. Ensure electrical safety in accordance with NFPA 70E standard. **Job Description** ---------------------- Maintain the Salvador plant. Responsibilities: Perform major maintenance; intervene on power/control systems; conduct technical diagnostics; implement safe lockout procedures per NFPA 70E. Execute major maintenance: Carry out preventive/corrective maintenance and replacement of electrical components in critical plant equipment (crushers, mills, cells, and thickeners). Intervene on power and control systems: Connect/disconnect high-power motors; work in electrical rooms, distribution panels, and motor control centers (MCCs). Technical diagnostics: Use specialized instruments (megohmmeter, multimeter, thermal imaging cameras) for testing and ensuring proper commissioning. Ensure electrical safety: Strictly apply lockout, tagout, and zero-energy verification procedures, complying with NFPA 70E and Codelco standards. Housekeeping: Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper disposal of technical waste at the assigned worksite upon completion of each shift. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Higher or Intermediate Technical Degree in Electricity, Electronics, or Industrial Automation * Minimum 5 years of general professional experience * Physical fitness compatible with work at high geographic altitude (2\.400 m above sea level) **Selection Process** ------------------------ The selection process is conducted via Aira — a recruitment platform designed to enhance your application experience.
