Execute scheduled maintenance, resolve unexpected issues, conduct failure analysis, and provide technical advisory to customers, complying with Sandvik and client standards and procedures. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Independently perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including complex repairs on equipment and installations. * Diagnose failures in systems and components using technical knowledge and propose effective solutions. * Provide on-site technical advisory to customers, identifying improvement opportunities and operational risks. * Propose improvements to maintenance processes and procedures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. * Plan and manage required resources (tools, materials, spare parts) for work execution. * Supervise maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. * Coordinate major repair works and lead work teams when required. * Prepare detailed technical reports on interventions performed. * Maintain constant communication with customers, providing recommendations to improve equipment availability. * Use and update maintenance management systems and equipment software. * Train and support junior technicians, transferring knowledge and best practices. * Promote technical team development through mentoring and continuous training. **YOUR PROFILE:** * Higher-level technical degree or Engineering degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, Heavy Machinery, or related fields. * Minimum 4–6 years of experience in a similar role with heavy machinery. * Experience in maintenance of underground drilling equipment (mandatory). * Knowledge and experience with underground loaders (desirable). * Basic technical English (mandatory). * Valid SEC license (desirable). **OTHER REQUIREMENTS:** * Willingness to travel within and outside Chile. * Availability to work rotating shifts as required by the company. * **Class B driver’s license, minimum 3 years’ validity (mandatory).** * **Class D driver’s license (desirable).** * **Residence in Copiapó (mandatory).** **Work Location: Atacama Kozan Contract** **APPLICATION PROCESS:** * **Internal Sandvik Candidates:** Access Intranet Vacancies Job ID: **R0096033.** * **External Candidates:** www.sandvik.com “Careers”, enter code **R0096033** (create user account, **upload updated CV**, and **complete questionnaire**, if applicable). *Sandvik is an equal opportunity employer.
