Finning, a strategic partner of CATERPILLAR and a leader in equipment distribution and services, is seeking top talent to fulfill the role of **Technical Advisor – Gold Maintenance Contract**, who will work collaboratively with clients to optimize equipment performance — i.e., maximize availability, utilization, and productivity while simultaneously controlling maintenance and operational costs. **Primary Job Responsibilities:** * Deliver high-level technical advisory services throughout the process. * Participate in daily planning meetings. * Provide on-site technical advisory support for complex technical issues as required. * Recommend implementation and/or adaptation of critical technical procedures to improve processes. * Advise and train technical personnel on the correct use of critical tools. * Prepare failure reports to support warranty claims. * Monitor equipment performance during operational testing. * Participate in and prepare outcome reports. **Requirements:** * University graduate or higher technical professional. * Minimum 5 years of work experience with Caterpillar equipment: 994/777/24M/16M/854K/D11/D10 If you are currently part of the company, please also note the internal application requirements for this role: * Minimum 1 year of tenure in the current position. * Performance evaluation score of “Meets Expectations” or higher (minimum score of 3). * Minimum application level: 3A/T2\. * Meet the specified education and experience requirements.
