The operation is powered 100% by non-conventional renewable energy sources to meet its power needs. **Job Description** -------------------------- Coordinate all contracted drilling activities, from scope definition and bidding to field execution and cost reconciliation, ensuring results are achieved safely, efficiently, and economically, reflecting Kinross values. **Job Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Supervise multiple drilling crews from various contractors: diamond, reverse circulation (RC), sonic. * Coordinate interaction between drilling programs and different departments regarding drilling sequence, space availability, interaction with operational areas, safety and environment, etc. * Supervise pad and road construction (including earthmoving contractors), ensuring pads are built within correct parameters and environmental mitigation procedures are followed. * Use GPS equipment to mark drill holes and pads, and collect field data points. * Conduct appropriate proactive inspections of drilling pads prior to drilling, and sign off pad release after drilling, ensuring the area is clean and released. * Visit all drilling rigs daily during operations and conduct full safety inspections, identifying and correcting any hazards.
