**At Grupo Grafton we are seeking a Permit and Lockout Specialist for an important client in the energy sector.** **Location:** Atacama Region **Industry:** Energy – Ongoing Megaproject **Work Schedule:** Standard mining shift system (e.g. 7x7, 14x14\) **Modality:** On-site presence required **Job Description:** An important client in the energy sector, currently developing a megaproject in the Atacama Region, is seeking a **Permit and Lockout Specialist**, responsible for safely and efficiently managing energy control procedures, ensuring personnel safety and operational continuity in compliance with current regulations and client standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * Manage, issue, and monitor work permits (PTW) according to HSE protocols. * Administer lockout and tagging procedures (LOTO) on energized equipment and systems. * Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance staff, and operators the safe execution of activities in high-risk areas. * Verify on-site proper application of lockouts and associated documentation. * Support training related to the permit and lockout system. * Maintain updated records and ensure compliance with client standards and current legal regulations. * Actively participate in safety meetings and risk assessments. **Requirements:** * Technical or professional background in electrical, mechanical, occupational health and safety, or related field. * Proven experience in mining or energy operations in similar roles. * Knowledge and practical experience with LOTO systems and work permits. * Availability to work on a shift system (e.g. 7x7 or 14x14\). * Health suitable for high-altitude geographical work conditions. **We Offer:** * Joining a large-scale project at a critical development stage. * Job stability based on performance. * Accommodation and meals provided at camp.
