Job Summary: Versatile on-site support, performing mobilization, site preparation, field testing, and general assistance activities while ensuring order and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Multifunctional support in various operational and maintenance activities. 2. Active participation in safety, occupational health, and environmental protection. 3. Dynamic and proactive role in support and collaborative tasks. Objective: Perform diverse support activities including mobilization and demobilization, site installation preparation, field test preparation, manual loading/unloading of trucks, and covering for absent personnel. Main Responsibilities: 1) Perform manual or mechanical excavations at locations specified by technical supervision. 2) Prepare the ground and required conditions for conducting tests. 3) Install and operate testing equipment following technical and safety protocols. 4) Collect samples into bags and sacks weighing up to 25 kg; assist with labeling and photographic documentation. 5) Load and unload samples onto a ¾-ton truck. 6) Perform housekeeping, maintenance, and inventory management of tools and/or materials used during project operations. 7) Prepare (where applicable) concrete mixtures; provide support in cable installation and chamber construction; prepare and compact surfaces—ensuring all such work complies with direct instructions from supervisors and established procedures, guidelines, and standards. 8) Support primary duties by preparing materials for upcoming works, maintaining order and cleanliness at work areas, and servicing assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) and work tools—ensuring tools, materials, and workspaces meet defined standards. 9) Report defects, malfunctions, unsafe or substandard conditions in tools or facilities to direct or indirect supervisors, especially where such issues may cause injury or damage to equipment and installations. 10) Actively participate in ART/AST verification prior to each work shift and verify generated checklists. Report deviations and request corrective actions from the operations department. 11) Comply with the Internal Regulations on Order, Hygiene, and Safety. 12) Properly use and safeguard personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure assigned personnel comply with PPE usage requirements. 13) Maintain order and cleanliness of facilities using available resources. 14) Actively participate in current Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental topics both within the company and client organizations—to prevent accidents, injuries, and negative environmental impacts—and comply with local regulations. Respond appropriately to adverse events in accordance with legal requirements and organizational ethics and policy guidelines. 15) Be dynamic, proactive, and collaborative in assigned tasks. 16) Assist in lifting operations as helper, signalman, tool facilitator, etc. 17) Assist in water loading/unloading operations using tank trucks to designated ponds or tanks across project areas. 18) Assist in petroleum loading, transport, and unloading to various locations on site. 19) Perform manual earth-moving tasks during trial pit excavation, sample transportation, weighing, control, etc. 20) Assist in access control activities—including signage (signpost/signalman) and traffic control—in any project area assigned. 21) Assist in mechanical maintenance of equipment under direct supervision. 22) Assist in electrical installation, maintenance, and dismantling activities, always under direct supervision. 23) Directly substitute workers unable to perform their duties, when required and approved by direct supervisor. Education: Secondary Education Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience in this position. Experience in Large-Scale Mining Class B Driver’s License held for more than two years. Knowledge: Civil works, geotechnical works, construction, carpentry, among others.
