Innovation, safety, and commitment to our clients drive us, making us a key strategic partner in the mining and energy industries. **Your Role** The Front-End Loader Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery at mining and/or construction sites. Key work areas include lot excavation, scoria transport, aggregate transport, and tailings dam maintenance—ensuring compliance with the company’s established safety, production, quality, and environmental standards. Key responsibilities include: * Operating the front-end loader to load trucks, feed hoppers, and move materials (ore, waste rock, and supplies). * Verifying mechanical and safety conditions of the equipment before and after each shift using a daily checklist. * Maintaining order and cleanliness in assigned loading zones and operational areas. * Recording production data, fuel consumption, and equipment operational status. * Coordinating work maneuvers with truck operators and supervisory personnel to ensure an efficient and safe workflow. * Complying with safety regulations, operational procedures, and environmental protocols, and correctly using PPE. * Promptly reporting mechanical failures, incidents, or identified operational hazards. * Participating in safety meetings, operational briefings, inductions, and technical training sessions defined by the organization. **Requirements** * Completed secondary education (preferred). * Heavy machinery operation course specializing in front-end loaders (mandatory if no certified experience). * Valid Class D driver’s license. * Minimum 3 years of experience operating front-end loaders in mining or construction. * Residence: Exclusively in Copiapó (mandatory requirement). * Availability: To work on a 7x7 shift system, with both day and night shifts. **Why Join Zach?** At Zach, we believe in growth and excellence.
