Finning, CATERPILLAR’s strategic partner and leader in equipment and service distribution, is seeking top talent to fill the role of **Technical Inspector**. **Position Summary:** Monitor and verify compliance with operational protocols for fleets under your responsibility, ensuring zero failures and on-time delivery. Generate necessary corrective actions for quality control activities across all assembly and repair processes, applying high-level technical expertise. Participate in defined processes within an Integrated Management System framework and assigned resources. **Primary Job Responsibilities:** * Perform condition monitoring activities according to inspection type (e.g., fluid sampling, magnetic plug replacement, downloading data from electronic devices). * Generate backlogs following field inspections. **Requirements:** * Technical professional graduate from an Institute or University with a specialization in mechanical engineering. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in repair and maintenance of mining-sector equipment. * Knowledge of failure analysis and applied hydraulics. * Willingness to work a rotating 7x7 shift schedule (day and night shifts). * Medical fitness suitable for performance at high geographical altitudes.
