**Major mining supplier company requires Heavy Equipment Mechanic** **General Job Objective:** Diagnose equipment failures in order to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to assignments received from the Maintenance Supervisor. Must also direct, coordinate and/or intervene to repair and/or diagnose equipment operational failures **Main Job Functions:** Correctly execute and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the company's fleet of equipment on a weekly and monthly basis, according to manufacturer specifications and assignments received from the Maintenance Supervisor Primarily focus function on repairs of mechanically, hydraulically, and pneumatically driven components Execute maintenance programs and plans according to guidelines, highlighting identified findings to report to the Planner and Maintenance Supervisor Request and complete work orders (W/O) for all repairs and service tasks performed Request required components via spare parts request form in case of unexpected interventions, identifying part numbers and submitting them to the Planner with prior authorization from the direct supervisor **Requirements:** Intermediate or higher mechanical technician qualification. 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair. Specialization in Komatsu and Caterpillar lines Availability to work 14x14 shifts Class B driver's license
