Excellent work environment and professional development **SPCI Technicians – Fire Protection Systems** ----------------------------------------------------------- At **CS Energy**, a company with over **47 years of experience** delivering engineering solutions for mining, critical infrastructure, and data centers, we are currently seeking **SPCI Technicians** to join an important mining project in the Atacama Region. If you have experience in fire protection systems, a strong commitment to safety, and are seeking new challenges, we want to meet you! **Main Responsibilities** ------------------------- * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fire protection systems. * Conduct inspections, tests, and commissioning of SPCI equipment. * Diagnose faults and promptly report them to the Supervisor or Area Manager. * Interpret drawings and diagrams of fire detection and suppression systems. * Use measurement and testing instruments to verify equipment functionality. * Perform work under Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. * Record inspections, tests, and activities in auditable formats. * Strictly comply with safety regulations and established procedures for mining operations. **Requirements** -------------- ### **Education** * Higher Technical Diploma or Engineering degree in: * Electronics * Computer Science * Telecommunications * Automation and Control * Or related field. ### **Experience** * Minimum **5 years of experience** in Fire Protection Systems (SPCI). * Demonstrable experience in **mining operations**. * Experience in maintenance and operation of fire protection systems. **Technical Knowledge** -------------------------- Experience and knowledge in: * **NFPA 10:** Maintenance of portable fire extinguishers. * **NFPA 20:** Operation and maintenance of fire pumps. * **NFPA 25:** Inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems. * **NFPA 72:** Fire detection and alarm systems. * **NFPA 70E:** Electrical safety for workers.
