Key responsibilities include payment validation, budgetary control, and identifying optimization opportunities. The role must align with Kinross Chile’s policies, procedures, and strategic objectives. **Job Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Propose actions to reduce contractual costs without affecting operational continuity or quality standards. * Propose and lead cross-functional projects related to operational efficiency and spending. * Periodically evaluate the economic performance of active contracts, including expenditure forecasts, variances, and savings opportunities. * Participate in renegotiation or contractual adjustment processes based on financial and operational data. * Monitor contract spending, timeline progress, remaining scope, and promptly inform relevant stakeholders. * Ensure timely review and submission of payment statements, confirming payable amounts (including review and update of polynomials, if applicable). **Education and Experience** --------------------------- * Education: Industrial Civil Engineer, Commercial Engineer, Accountant/Auditor, or related field. * Postgraduate degree in Finance, Management, and/or Administration is desirable. * Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in the mining industry.
