Perform field technical advisory and support services according to product lines. Carry out scheduled maintenance, identify requirements, resolve unexpected issues and technical demands from customers, and perform failure analysis, all according to company and/or client standards and procedures. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:* Independently perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, as well as complex repairs on customer equipment or within company facilities, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality standards. * Analyze and diagnose faults in equipment, systems, and components by applying technical knowledge and using appropriate tools and methodologies. Implement effective solutions according to internal regulations and customer needs. * Provide technical advice to customers, identifying improvement opportunities, potential risks, and giving recommendations regarding equipment operation and maintenance. * Plan and manage necessary resources (tools, materials, spare parts, etc.) required for job execution, ensuring their availability and adherence to established deadlines. Request and manage the purchase of spare parts and supplies as needed. * Supervise and monitor maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, operational procedures, and company policies. Identify and correct unsafe conditions or actions in the workplace. * Generate detailed technical reports on performed interventions, including identified failures, actions taken, suggested improvements, and resources used. Submit reports to management for validation. * Provide training and support to junior technicians and colleagues, transferring knowledge about procedures, tool usage, and fault diagnosis. Invest time in coaching others to ensure technical team development. * Maintain constant communication with customers, providing recommendations to improve equipment availability and reliability. Act as the main point of contact to resolve technical queries or issues related to equipment. * Use and update maintenance management systems, such as activity tracking software and warranty management systems. Download data and make adjustments to equipment software independently. * Occasionally lead work teams, coordinating activities, ensuring goal achievement, and maximizing operational efficiency. Manage major repair jobs in coordination with other departments. * Evaluate performance of serviced equipment and continuously seek to improve maintenance processes and procedures, generating improvement proposals to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. YOUR PROFILE:* Higher-level technical degree or Engineering in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, Heavy Machinery, or related fields. * Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role with heavy machinery. * Experience with drilling equipment in surface and/or underground mining (desirable). * Experience in supervision and leadership of work teams. * Basic technical English (mandatory). OTHER REQUIREMENTS:* Willingness to travel within and outside Chile. * Availability to work shift schedules as required by the company. * Class B driver's license, minimum 3 years of validity (mandatory). * Class D driver's license (desirable). * Residence in Copiapó (mandatory).
