Provide support to the Mine OP Shift Supervisor in loading and haulage activities to fulfill the assigned program and ensure information availability. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the shift supervisor in loading and haulage activities, such as road condition monitoring, loading and unloading faces, and other related tasks. Collecting and recording attendance records, operator reports, and verifying their signatures by shift supervisors and coordinators. Participating in shift-start meetings and staying informed of updates, alerts, and contingencies. Additionally, conducting on-site supervision of safety standard compliance, capturing photographic evidence, and reporting any deviations to superiors. Supporting shift supervisors with safety talks. Conducting safety walks during the shift and supervising both internal and external personnel. In case of incidents, supporting information collection for Preliminary Safety Investigations (PSI). When required, providing support in tasks assigned by superiors, such as road closures and zone demarcation. Issuing periodic shift KPI compliance reports and responding to information requests from other departments as needed. Fulfilling all legal and regulatory competency and training requirements for the position to be hired. Performing all role-related activities in accordance with RMMS Management Systems guidelines—Occupational Health & Safety, Environment, Energy, and the Operational Model, Governance, and Social Aspects. While performing job duties, act in accordance with occupational health and safety, environmental, and operational policies, standards, and procedures, considering associated risks and environmental aspects and protective measures. Stay informed and maintain conduct aligned with anti-corruption, ethics, code of conduct, human rights, diversity and inclusion, and workplace and sexual harassment policies. What qualifications must you meet? Must hold a degree in Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering (Mining Track). Must have 3 years of experience in Open-Pit Mining Operations. Must possess knowledge and/or experience in modular dispatch. Must possess knowledge and/or experience in provisioning. Must hold a Class B driver’s license. Proficiency in Office 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) at an intermediate level (desirable). Training in people management (desirable).
