Responsibilities * Distribute and assign operational tasks related to the food service production process at the assigned site. * Supervise and verify the delivery of procedures, documents, and training sessions regarding quality and safety as defined by Sodexo. * Supervise and verify the application of quality manuals in the food service operational process. * Plan and supervise the daily mass production of food items, ensuring their quality. * Quickly adjust production plans in response to changes in demand or unforeseen issues. Requirements * Completed secondary education. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in the role. * 1 year of experience in mining. * Residence from Antofagasta to Santiago. * Health compatible with the job. * Availability to work 10x10 shift schedules. * Willingness to travel. Main Functions: * Review the daily menu, verifying the type of preparation and the quantity requested. * Check the quality of raw materials to be used. * Lead and/or carry out preparations for various dishes. * Prepare and plate hot dishes, salads, desserts, and/or pastries. * Assist in maintaining continuity of service on the line; must replenish dishes and direct subordinates to help achieve excellent service. * Initiate and lead preparations for the next service. * Supervise the team under their responsibility, providing clear instructions regarding tasks and work methodology. * Perform administrative tasks: cost calculations and pre-costing, service balance reports, warehouse supply requests, among others. * Use work utensils correctly and safely: knives, meat grinder, dough mixer, among others. * Maintain kitchen order and cleanliness. * Comply with company hygiene, quality, and safety regulations for food and equipment handling. * Perform other related tasks as required by immediate needs and supervisor's direction.
