Mandatory Requirements * More than 3 years of professional experience since degree completion, performing development tasks in Big Data environments as a Data Engineer working in cloud environments (GCP, AWS) * Experience in data ingestion and migrations * Building data processing pipelines and integrating data in Big Data environments * Understanding of distributed computing concepts * Knowledge of batch and near-real-time (NRT) processing * Proficiency in Scala and Python Advanced Knowledge and Expertise in: 1. Functional Programming in Scala/Spark 3.x, Spark 2.4.x 2. Development environments and IDEs, such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, Maven, and Git. 3. CI/CD tools. 4. Data storage technologies. 5. Data schema design. 6. Relational databases: Oracle and PostgreSQL. 7. NoSQL databases. 8. Knowledge of Hive, Impala, and Kudu. 9. Knowledge of Kafka. 10. Databricks. 11. Sqoop and Oozie. 12.
