Supervisor Control and Protection Systems

Here, every talent plays a key role in transforming the future: make a difference, take on exciting challenges, and build a rewarding professional career that reflects who you are. **Your Purpose at ENGIE** As a Control and Protection Supervisor, you will carry out and supervise commissioning activities in new renewable generation facilities, ensuring the design, preparation of technical specifications, planning, execution of tests, and commissioning of these installations. These tasks will be performed in coordination with EPC contractors, BOP or external specialists, ensuring compliance with company-established standards. You will coordinate all areas involved in the process, facilitating access to technical information for respective management teams, identifying improvement opportunities, and applying industry best practices. Your role will be crucial in contributing to ENGIE’s profitability, growth, and sustainability, aligned with defined KPIs, policies, procedures, and budgets. **Your Main Responsibilities as a Control and Protection Supervisor** * Carry out and supervise all stages of engineering development in Control and Protection systems: specifications, basic and detailed engineering, construction, and as-built documentation. * Manage engineering contracts (Counterparty, EPC, BOP, or supply), ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and industry best practices. * Coordinate own activities and those of contractors, aligning actions with implementation, operations, CEN, and other relevant departments to ensure standards and deadlines. * Lead the commissioning of facilities and grid connection, managing deviations and ensuring proper handover to O&M. * Apply industry best practices and HSE methodologies throughout all project phases. * Promote efficient resource use, adherence to internal policies, and continuous improvement. * Represent ENGIE culture through leadership, openness, empathy, and high standards. **What We Expect From You** * Professional degree: Electrical, Electronic, or Industrial Civil Engineering or equivalent. * Experience with quality management systems applied in projects (certification processes, audits, non-conformance tracking). * In-depth knowledge of electrical Control and Protection systems. * Proficiency with testing equipment (Omicron CPC356 or similar). * Knowledge of electrical fault analysis, and testing of primary and secondary equipment. * Advanced Excel skills. * Technical English proficiency. * Technical knowledge in Transmission and Generation areas. * Key competencies: leadership, results orientation. * Minimum 7 years of specific experience in similar roles. * At least 12 years of total professional work experience.
