The Part-Time Sales Associate is responsible for achieving established sales goals while maintaining the quality standards, visual presentation, and customer service excellence that define the Skechers brand. (*The part-time sales associate’s working hours will depend on the country where duties are performed.*) PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES A. SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE Achieve or exceed the team’s monthly sales goals. Provide personalized advice regarding Skechers footwear features, benefits, and uses. Identify each customer’s specific needs to recommend appropriate products. Effectively handle sales objections and close transactions. Process cash, credit/debit card, and other authorized payment methods. Manage exchanges, returns, and warranties according to established policies. Maintain professional and courteous communication with all customers. B. STORE OPERATIONS Receive, verify, and organize new merchandise per established protocols. Label, price-mark, and barcode products per corporate standards. Keep inventory organized and perform periodic counts as required. Safely and presentably pack and bag customer purchases. C. MERCHANDISING AND VISUAL PRESENTATION Implement and maintain the brand’s visual presentation standards. Arrange products according to established planograms and marketing guidelines. Ensure display windows and fixtures remain attractive and tidy. Restock products on shelves and racks promptly. Verify promotional signage is up-to-date and properly placed. D. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks for shelves, counters, tables, and floors. Execute store opening and closing routines per the established checklist. Keep work areas organized and free of obstacles. Report any damage or maintenance needs to supervisors. Ensure the store is prepared for the next operating day. E. COMPLIANCE AND POLICIES Strictly adhere to all corporate policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information. Uphold corporate values and the company’s code of ethics. Participate in scheduled training and development programs. Report incidents or irregular situations to immediate supervision. IV. POSITION REQUIREMENTS A. EDUCATION Minimum: Completed secondary education. Preferred: Technical studies in sales, marketing, or related fields. B. EXPERIENCE Minimum: 6 months of retail sales or customer service experience. Preferred: Prior experience in footwear or fashion retail. C. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES Basic knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles. Proficiency with POS systems and point-of-sale equipment. Basic math skills for handling money and calculations.
