Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Welder to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance services on equipment and facilities, applying high-quality welding. Key Highlights: 1. Comply with quality, safety, and environmental standards. **EQUANS Chile (EQCL)** is seeking a **MECHANICAL WELDER**, whose primary responsibility is to carry out scheduled or emergency preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance services required by equipment and facilities, specializing in welding, in accordance with division-established protocols and guidelines, and under quality, safety, and environmental protection standards, aiming to complete standardized work within stipulated deadlines and ensure equipment availability. We invite all qualified candidates meeting the following requirements for this vacancy: **Profession / Education:** * Certification or studies in Industrial Mechanics; 6G Welding Certification **Knowledge:** * Perform stainless steel welding tasks according to drawings, technical specifications, and established procedures. * Perform welding using SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) and GTAW (Tungsten Inert Gas) processes, or combined GTAW & SMAW processes, as required by the project. * Perform welding in the 6G position (all positions), ensuring joint quality and compliance with acceptance criteria. * Prepare weld joints using cutting tools, stainless steel wire brushes, and abrasive discs exclusively designated for this material, avoiding cross-contamination with carbon steel. * Properly handle shielding gases, using pure argon and argon mixtures, according to the applicable welding procedure. * Conduct visual inspection of welded joints and correct deviations as appropriate. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper condition of assigned equipment and tools. * Strictly comply with company and client-established Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards. * Promptly report any substandard conditions, technical deviations, or risks identified during work execution. * Driver's license Class B is desirable. **Experience:** * 2 years of experience in the role **Requirements:** * Valid 6G certification Diversity strengthens us.
