Job Summary: We are seeking a DCS Engineer expert in Honeywell Experion PKS to design, implement, and optimize distributed control systems for critical industrial automation projects. Key Highlights: 1. Technical reference for DCS system architecture and optimization. 2. Implementation of control and visualization strategies in Experion PKS R530. 3. Resolution of complex incidents and continuous system improvement. At Northtek Engineering, we are looking for an expert DCS Engineer to join our industrial automation project team. If you have proven experience in the implementation, configuration, and support of Honeywell Experion PKS systems, we want to meet you. Your challenge: You will serve as the technical reference for distributed control system (DCS) architecture and optimization, ensuring operational stability, security, and efficiency in high-availability critical projects. Key Responsibilities: Engineering and Configuration: Design, implementation, and configuration of control and visualization strategies in the Experion PKS R530 environment. Diagnosis and Support: Resolution of complex incidents; troubleshooting of server, workstation, and controller (C300) hardware/software. Integration: Connectivity with third-party systems (OPC, Modbus, Profibus) and data server management. Security: Implementation of patches, user management, and compliance with industrial cybersecurity standards. Optimization: Platform version migration or upgrade and continuous improvement of the installed base. Mandatory Requirements: Education: Degree in Automation Engineering, Control Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience specifically with Honeywell Experion PKS platforms (preferably recent versions, especially R530). Hardware Knowledge: Practical experience with C300 controllers, C-Series I/O, and FTE (Fault Tolerant Ethernet) networks. Operating Systems: Advanced proficiency in Windows Server and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
