Do you want to join our team? **We are looking for:** Project Engineer \- Technology Projects Area SPMF **Location:** Minera Escondida, Antofagasta **Role Objective:** Lead engineering processes, practices, and standards to optimize the delivery of technical designs, ensuring compliance with scope, time, and specifications. The focus is 100% on projects. **Key Responsibilities:** **1\. Support to Contract Administrator:** Report to the Contract Administrator and coordinate with the client's Project Manager and technical stakeholders (HoD\&E, planning, etc.). Execute the project's technical scope according to HoD\&E verticals. Coordinate internal and external technology resources. Estimate technical resources, costs, and schedules. Manage contractor, OEM, and vendor participation from bidding through to closure. **Coordinate technical workshops:** SiD, Hazop, Constructibility, Commissioning, PEM, MoC, SPMF, TEF. Manage technical deviations (PDN) and consolidate deliverables: design, BoM, costs, equipment. **2\. Design Governance:** Ensure design quality throughout all project stages (IPS, SPS, DPS). Define deliverables, technical requirements (including cybersecurity), and counterpart engineering processes. Implement document review processes and use of document management systems. Manage field engineering and implementation control during project execution (EXE). **3\. Strategic Planning:** Estimate resources (CAPEX, OPEX), define technical scopes, and develop schedules. Coordinate with finance and governance areas for budget approval. Participate in investment prioritization processes (Cash\-Prioritization, 5YP, 2YB). Support project study phases (INI, IPS, SPS, DPS). Develop alternative analyses (Trade\-Offs) and investment estimates (Class 4 and Class 2\). **4\. Technical Coordination:** Interact with project owners, planners, study leaders, and supporting technical areas. Participate in CAB for technological changes and technical validations (CHG). **Ensure participation in system testing:** CAT, SAT, FAT, UX. **Job Requirements:** **Education:** Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or related field. **Experience:** Supervision/direction of fieldwork related to MEL (mandatory). **Knowledge:** Control systems, communications, programming, electrical installation. **Standards:** ANSI TIA 942, NFPA 70E, 75, 76\. Project management (EPCM desirable), quality, environment (ISO), occupational health. **Software proficiency:** AutoCAD, Project, Office tools. **Other:** Class B driver's license.
