Finning, CATERPILLAR’s strategic partner and leader in equipment and service distribution, is seeking top talent to fill the **Storekeeper** role. **Job Description Summary**: The Storekeeper must perform activities in the mining contract warehouse or store regarding spare parts, goods receipt, preparation, and dispatch to customers, warehouse administration, and safety. As the primary responsibility, the Storekeeper must administer, safeguard, and maintain mechanical tools for the mechanical and electrical workshops on site; maintain inventory records of tools issued to each field and workshop mechanic and electrician. Additionally, the Storekeeper must administer, safeguard, and procure minor consumables for rebar work and mechanical repairs. **Job Functions:** * Participate in tool, instrument, and spare parts inventory counts and reconciliations. * Operate forklifts. * Supervise, issue, and administer tools and instruments. * Supervise, issue, and administer PPE. * Conduct inventories of tools, instruments, and PPE. * Collect domestic waste. * Handle shipment of APD samples. * Clean spare parts shelving. * Conduct inventories of mechanics’ toolboxes. **Requirements:** * Technical secondary education from a commercial or industrial high school. * Knowledge of basic mechanics (familiarity with all types of machinery and tools). * Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
