This role will be responsible for **designing, evaluating, and implementing process improvements** that directly support Albemarle’s lithium production business, addressing challenges such as capacity expansion, cost reduction, quality enhancement, and environmental impact mitigation. Additionally, the candidate must be capable of **leading projects from conceptual stage through execution**, applying methodologies such as DMAIC and data analysis tools to ensure effective and scalable solutions. To succeed in this role, you need: **Mandatory Requirements:** * Professional degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. * 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles. * Intermediate English proficiency, enabling reading of technical documentation and participation in conversations. * Operational proficiency in statistical and data analysis software such as Minitab, PI System, NWA, SIMCA, or others. * Knowledge of basic and detailed engineering (ideally with experience designing equipment such as pumps, tanks, and instrumentation). * Experience in plant-level process development, continuous improvement, and application of structured methodologies such as DMAIC (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is desirable but not mandatory). * Class B driver’s license. **Behavioral Competencies such as:** * Organizational commitment * Relationship and network development * Achievement orientation * Interpersonal understanding **Additional Assets We Value:** * Six Sigma certification. * Knowledge of Big Data or Data Science applied to industrial processes.
