CAEX Operator – Mining A leading mining company is currently seeking a CAEX Operator, whose primary responsibility will be to operate Extraction Trucks for transporting materials from electric-mechanical shovels, hydraulic shovels, or loaders, in compliance with the production plan and the company’s safety, HSE, and operational procedures. Position Objective To safely and efficiently operate CAEX mining equipment, ensuring achievement of production targets and adherence to established safety standards. Main Responsibilities Operate and ensure proper use of the Extraction Truck (CAEX). Transport materials within the mine area according to the production plan. Monitor team equipment performance against operational standards. Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections and report any anomalies detected. Strictly comply with occupational safety and health standards. Perform tasks following safety protocols to minimize personal and team-related risks. Participate in safety talks and training sessions required by the company. Collaborate on operational tasks such as development, preparation, and maintenance of pits, dumps, and operational areas. Maintain ongoing communication with the shift supervisor and dispatch department. Adapt to assignment changes based on operational requirements. Promote teamwork and contribute ideas for continuous improvement. Requirements Completed secondary education. Valid Class D driver’s license. Technical training in mining operations (desirable). Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a CAEX Operator or in similar roles. Operating experience with: CAT 797 B–F (diesel) CAT 798 AC (electric) Komatsu 960 E4 (electric) What We Offer? • Fixed-term contract, subsequently indefinite subject to performance evaluation. • 7x7 shift schedule, alternating day and night shifts. • Meals provided at the camp. • Net salary: $2,360,000.
