Monitoring and control of mining process variables A mining company located in the Antofagasta Region requires hiring a DRY AREA PROCESS OPERATOR under a 7X7 shift system. We seek individuals committed to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence, capable of performing effectively in demanding production environments and actively contributing to the company’s operational objectives. What We Expect From You The purpose of this role is to perform field operations related to Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Crushing, Stacking, and Leaching, in accordance with established procedures and work standards, as well as instructions provided by the direct supervisor, thereby supporting the operational continuity of the Dry Area plant. This position involves monitoring and controlling process variables, verifying field operational conditions, and promptly detecting deviations, implementing corrective actions as required. Additionally, it includes supporting the operation of crushing, stacking, and leaching-related equipment. Some of your responsibilities will include: Respecting the Company’s Internal Regulations on Order, Hygiene, and Safety. Complying with and adhering to defined operational procedures and work standards. Verifying process conditions based on field indicators and operational guidelines. Conducting inspections and preventive checks, identifying substandard conditions before and during operations. Operating equipment according to the work schedule indicated by supervision. Controlling process variables, detecting deviations, and implementing corrective actions. Monitoring operational parameters in crushing, stacking, and leaching, recording detected anomalies. Supporting crushing plant operations and coordination activities with the control room. Performing sampling and control of variables in leaching processes. Supporting maintenance activities and equipment movement. Handing over the shift by reporting relevant events and operational results. Work Context 7X7 shift schedule. Fixed-term contract for 6 months, with potential extension to indefinite term based on performance. Some mandatory requirements for this position are: Completed secondary education. Technical training in mining, mining processes, or a related field is desirable. Minimum 3 years of experience in this role. Knowledge of crushing plant, stacking, and leaching process operations. Familiarity with conveyor belts, crushers, and stacking equipment operation. Class B driver’s license. Class D driver’s license is desirable.
