At Echeverría Izquierdo, we are currently seeking a Maintenance Workshop Manager to work at a mining site. Job Requirements: * Licensed Civil Engineer in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Heavy Machinery Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum verifiable experience of 10 years in equipment maintenance at mining sites. * At least 5 years of experience in managerial or supervisory roles overseeing heavy equipment maintenance workshops. * Valid Class B driver’s license (mandatory). * Experience in large-scale earthmoving, construction and operation of tailings dams, material handling in stockpiles, among others. Main Responsibilities: * Comprehensively manage the maintenance workshop, ensuring proper execution of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans for the assigned fleet. * Plan, coordinate, and control human resources, materials, spare parts, and tools within the workshop. * Ensure equipment availability, reliability, and safety. * Schedule maintenance tasks, coordinate shutdowns, analyze failures, and monitor repair times. * Continuously coordinate with the operations department to ensure operational continuity. * Lead and supervise technical personnel in the workshop, ensuring competence, training, and compliance with technical and safety procedures. * Manage and monitor maintenance KPIs (mechanical availability, reliability, plan compliance, and response times). * Respond to operational contingencies and coordinate work shifts according to service scheduling.
