Currently, **we are seeking a Geology Technician** to work as a **Drillhole Geotechnical Assistant** at a site located in the Antofagasta Region. **Responsibilities** * Provide direct support to the geologist in charge of drillhole mapping, assisting in sample preparation and geotechnical data collection. * Perform measurements of geotechnical parameters such as RQD (Rock Quality Designation) and FF (Fracture Frequency), ensuring accuracy and consistency in records. * Conduct geotechnical field tests, including needle penetrometer tests, PLT (Point Load Test), and Schmidt hammer tests, according to established technical procedures. * Digitize and upload geotechnical mapping data shift by shift using tools such as Xilab, ensuring data integrity and availability. * Review and verify core recovery and drillhole regularization, contributing to drilling process quality. * Assist in the development, implementation, and improvement of operational technical procedures to optimize the efficiency and reliability of the mapping process. **Job Requirements:** * **Geology Technician** or related technical degree * **At least 3 years of experience** as a drillhole geotechnical assistant * Experience in **recognition of geotechnical parameters** in drillholes * Proficiency with **Xilab** and technical data digitization **Benefits:** * Contract: Fixed-term for 2 months, renewable for an additional 2 months, with possibility of extension to indefinite. * Complementary health and accident insurance. * Be part of a company certified by Great Place to Work. * Performance-based incentives. * Birthday gifts and holiday celebrations.
