Apply to this job opportunity at getonbrd.com. ### **Main Responsibilities** The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions oriented toward building Power BI dashboards, ensuring data availability, quality, and consistency to support decision-making. They will work on integrating various data sources, transforming information, and performing the necessary modeling to support management reporting. Additionally, they will participate in process optimization and continuous improvement of the data models used by the business. Their main responsibilities include: * Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards (primarily MOP L3 and L4\). * Building and managing Dataflows for data preparation and transformation. * Integrating data sources such as Snowflake and local databases. * Designing and optimizing data models for reporting. * Writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction and processing. * Ensuring data quality and consistency in reports. * Supporting data standardization and best practices in BI development. * Documenting processes and maintaining traceability of data flows. ### **Required Technical Competencies** A degree in Computer Engineering or a related field is required, along with experience in BI solution development and data handling. Mandatory requirements: * Experience developing dashboards in Power BI. * Proficiency with Dataflows and Power Query for data transformation. * Advanced SQL skills for complex queries. * Experience integrating data from Snowflake or similar sources. * Knowledge of data modeling for reporting. * Experience using DAX for metrics and calculations. **This position involves a 4x3 work schedule at the II Region (Antofagasta) site. Remote work is not available.** Additionally, the following will be valued: * Experience working with large volumes of data. * Knowledge of Dataverse or other Power Platform environments. * Experience optimizing dashboard performance. ### **Optional Knowledge** The following knowledge or experience will be considered a plus: * Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). * Knowledge of cloud-based data architecture (Azure). * Experience in data process automation (ETL/ELT). * Knowledge of data governance and data quality. * Familiarity with version control tools (Git). * Experience with agile methodologies.
