Positively impact society and well-being Sodexo Chile is seeking a Contract Deputy Manager for an important mining contract located in the Northern Zone. If you have experience leading high-complexity operations, contract administration, integrated services, and direct client relationship management, this opportunity is for you. Job Description As Contract Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the comprehensive management of a major mining contract, coordinating and overseeing the operational, administrative, and financial execution of services within its scope. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational continuity, contractual compliance, performance indicator tracking, resource control, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you must coordinate the management of diverse operational areas, maintaining ongoing communication with the Contract Manager, internal department heads, field teams, support departments, and the client. Responsibilities * Coordinate and oversee the daily execution of contract services, ensuring operational continuity, compliance with standards, and proper handling of client requirements. * Supervise the coordination of operational areas under the contract, such as food services, hospitality, cleaning, laundry, recreation, maintenance, and related services. * Support the Contract Manager in monitoring operational and financial results, KPIs, SLAs, and committed service levels. * Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, HSEQ standards, internal regulations, and requirements defined by Sodexo and the client. * Monitor staffing levels, shifts, critical resources, and operational needs, coordinating service coverage and availability. * Coordinate with area managers on implementing work plans, corrective actions, operational improvements, and commitments arising from management meetings. * Identify, analyze, and manage deviations, contingencies, or operational risks that may affect service continuity. * Support cost control, consumption management, budgeting, and financial performance of the contract. * Maintain ongoing communication with the client, internal department heads, support departments, and operational teams. * Participate in management meetings, operational committees, performance reviews, and continuous improvement processes. * Represent or substitute for the Contract Manager in operational settings, coordination meetings, or follow-up activities, as required. Requirements * Professional degree in Administration, Engineering, Operations, Hospitality, Gastronomy, Contract Management, or a related field. * Minimum 6 years of experience in operations, contract administration, general services, food services, hospitality, facility management, or high-complexity services. * Experience leading operational teams, area managers, or large-scale service operations. * Desired: experience in mining sites or integrated service contracts. * Experience monitoring KPIs, SLAs, operational indicators, costs, budgets, and service levels. * Experience in direct client, principal, or managerial relationships. * Desired knowledge of integrated services: food services, hospitality, cleaning, laundry, recreation, and maintenance. * Intermediate or advanced Excel proficiency. * Desired proficiency in reporting tools, ERP systems, SAP, Power BI, or other management platforms. * Availability to work under a 4x3 shift system at a mining site. * Medical fitness for working at high geographical altitudes.
