Our culture is built on collaboration, continuous improvement, and the creation of sustainable value for customers, employees, and communities. **Job Mission** The person assuming the role of **Quality Control Manager** will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling quality management of technical processes, ensuring process and product conformity, compliance with corporate and customer standards, through risk management, audits, performance indicator control, and leadership of continuous improvement initiatives. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Coordinate and validate inspections, tests, and trials conducted on equipment and components. * Ensure compliance with quality standards related to assembly of new equipment. * Lead root cause analysis management for local warranties and service budget deviations (DPS). * Ensure documentary traceability and compliance with Quality Control department procedures. * Manage and monitor departmental performance indicators (KPIs). * Administer opening and closing of service orders related to warranties and deviations. * Supervise compliance with technical standards of strategic suppliers through protocols, audits, and performance evaluations. * Lead, organize, develop, and train the quality team to achieve departmental objectives. * Ensure compliance with quality standards for repair and maintenance services performed at branches and assembly yards. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, quality, and operational performance. **Requirements** * Professional degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * Experience leading Quality Control processes in repair and maintenance of mining equipment and components. * Experience in team leadership and development. * Experience implementing and monitoring ISO 9001-based management systems. * Knowledge of technical inspections, audits, non-conformance management, and corrective actions. * Experience in root cause analysis (RCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA). * Knowledge of maintenance and repair of drilling, exploration, and loading equipment and components. * Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and/or automation systems in mining equipment. * Proficiency in precision measuring instruments, reading drawings, and technical specifications. * Desirable certification or knowledge in Non-Destructive Testing (PT, MT, UT). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and data analysis skills. * Basic/intermediate English proficiency in reading and writing. * Strong analytical ability, leadership, results orientation, effective communication, and commitment to continuous improvement. **It all starts with people.** The world needs metals and minerals for the energy transition and our cities and infrastructure must be developed to serve a growing population.
