Recognized globally as the benchmark for quality and integrity, SGS employs over 95,000 people and operates a network of more than 2,400 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description** * Appropriately apply SGS-specific instructions and procedures relevant to assigned activities. * Perform metrological verification activities where applicable. * Comply with activities specified in the Operational and Structural Procedures of the management system. * Adhere to operational risk control measures indicated by supervision and/or operational procedures. * Perform weight control, physicochemical tests, review, verification, checking, and certification tasks where applicable. * Work collaboratively as part of a team and provide mutual support. * Collect and prepare samples at designated locations in accordance with operational procedures. * Ensure the care, preservation, and integrity of samples collected and/or processed. * Immediately report to the chain of command any conditions or actions affecting safety and/or quality standards. * Be responsible for adhering to quality, safety, and environmental protection standards. * Safeguard and ensure proper maintenance of files, records, instructions, and operational documents—keeping them in good condition and readily available. * Protect sample integrity by ensuring traceability and accurate documentation of activities in designated documents, clearly, orderly, and completely. **Requirements** * Residency in Antofagasta * Technical or Higher Technical qualification in Metallurgy * Willingness to work rotating shifts (4x3 or 7x7) * Prior experience in Mineral Mechanical Preparation or Metallurgical Laboratory is preferred but not mandatory * Prior experience in Solvent Extraction (SX) is preferred but not mandatory
