Finning, CATERPILLAR’s strategic partner and leader in equipment distribution and services, is currently seeking top talent to fill the **Implementation Supervisor** role for the **La Escondida Contract**. The professional will be responsible for managing and controlling activities related to the installation and implementation of technological components, commissioning, and required testing to ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and Efficiency standards for assigned tasks, while adhering to internal procedures and client requirements. The primary **responsibilities** of this role include: * Supervise technicians during preparation, calibration, and commissioning of *Minestar* technology on Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar equipment. * Ensure timely commencement and proper execution of work, complying with defined procedures and controls to deliver technological systems to the client’s satisfaction. Perform daily maintenance and reporting of progress and daily updates, including shift handovers. * Provide feedback on installation plan execution and propose new ideas for continuous software improvement. * Coordinate and motivate work teams regarding safety and productivity, ensuring successful completion of supervised tasks. * Independently perform truck commissioning in the field and at construction sites alongside your direct work team. * Temporarily or for specific tasks replace the Mining Technology Implementation Specialist. **Education:** * Electronics Technician or Executive Engineer, with extensive experience supervising personnel in technology installation and/or automation of heavy mining machinery. * Experience in electronics: Automation, communications, or control systems. * Knowledge of dispatch system / *MineStar* hardware. * Knowledge of satellite positioning systems (Desirable). **Technical Competencies:** * Desired knowledge of CAT *Minestar* technology. * Familiarity with complementary and non-complementary CAT and non-CAT technologies. * Understanding of networking and wireless communication systems. * Knowledge of electronics applied to mining technological systems. * Knowledge of GNSS geolocation systems. * Knowledge of programming platforms and databases. * People management. **Work Context:** * Workshop and/or field work at mining sites under a 7x7 shift schedule (Day/Night), requiring on-site residence (mining camp accommodation). * Outdoor work environment involving wind, heat, and sun exposure. * The employee is responsible for covering transportation costs between the mine site and/or workplace and their residence.
